  • Driver de energia AMD.

Como instalar o kernel Linux 5.8 no Ubuntu:

Os pacotes do kernel principal para Linux 5.8 ( 64 bits ) agora estão disponíveis para download no link abaixo:


Baixe o Kernel 5.8

Selecione genericpara sistema comum e lowlatencypara um sistema de baixa latência (por exemplo, para gravação de áudio):

  1. linux-headers-5.8.0-xxxxxx_all.deb
  2. linux-headers-5.8.0-xxx-generic (/ lowlatency) _xxx_amd64.deb
  3. linux-modules-5.8.0-xxx-generic (/ lowlatency) _xxx_amd64.deb
  4. linux-image-xxx-5.8.0-xxx-generic (/ lowlatency) _xxx_amd64.deb

Como alternativa, você pode baixar e instalar os binários do kernel por meio de comandos de terminal (abra o terminal por meio de Ctrl + Alt + T ):

cd / tmp /

wget -c https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.8/amd64/linux-headers-5.8.0-050800_5.8.0-050800.202008022230_all.deb

wget -c https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.8/amd64/linux-headers-5.8.0-050800-generic_5.8.0-050800.202008022230_amd64.deb

wget -c https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.8/amd64/linux-modules-5.8.0-050800-generic_5.8.0-050800.202008022230_amd64.deb

sudo dpkg -i * .deb

Depois de instalado, reinicie o computador e divirta-se!

Desinstale o kernel Linux 5.8:

Reinicie sua máquina e selecione inicializar com o kernel anterior no menu de inicialização 'Grub2 -> Opção Avançada para Ubuntu'. Em seguida, execute o comando para remover o kernel Linux 5.8:

sudo dpkg --purge linux-image-unsigned-5.8.0-050800-generic
